Additional DetailsHarry Adamson was one of the premier interpreters of American wildfowl. Adamson first studied under wildlife photographer and sculptor Paul J. Fair then honed his talent illustrating journals at the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology in Berkeley, California. Adamson’s mastery of birds on the wing, with light catching their colors, is unmatched. His works have been exhibited at the Smithsonian, the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, and can be found in many museums and collections.
