Additional Details

George Lundeen’s life-sized bronze, Waitin’ for an Answer, was commissioned by Ed Trumble as a tribute to Trumble’s first partner, Bob Lorenz. When Trumble and Lorenz began the Lazy RL Ranch, Lorenz drew a pen and ink of a horse tethered to a mailbox as letterhead for the infant enterprise. Lundeen’s expectant cowboy and collie are a supremely suitable memorial. This lot is illustrated in The Story of Leanin’ Tree on page 28. A copy of the book will accompany this lot
